Hydro
Hydro is a Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer map, part of the Revolution downloadable map pack, released on January 29, 2013 (Xbox 360); February 28, 2013 (PS3/PC). It is set in Hydroelectric dam on the Indus River, Pakistan. A concrete hydroelectric dam offering mostly mid-to-long-range combat around a central hub.
How Hydro plays
On the ground, Hydro is defined by dynamic spillway flood hazard that periodically fills the lower channels and kills players caught in them, central hub and mid-to-long sightlines. Those are the features to read first — they decide where fights open up, which angles are safe to hold, and how you rotate between objectives. The longer sightlines reward assault rifles and marksman rifles, with Ghost to move across the open ground without lighting up enemy UAVs.
