Downhill

Downhill is a Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer map, part of the Revolution downloadable map pack, released on January 29, 2013 (Xbox 360); February 28, 2013 (PS3/PC). It is set in Ski resort in the Rhône-Alpes, France. A medium-sized snowy ski resort where players fight down the slopes and through a ski lodge.

How Downhill plays

On the ground, Downhill is defined by dynamic moving gondola / ski-lift cable cars that can kill players, snowy slopes and ski lodge and verticality. Those are the features to read first — they decide where fights open up, which angles are safe to hold, and how you rotate between objectives. Its mix of ranges suits a balanced assault-rifle class with a mid-range optic and Toughness to steady your aim while trading fire.
