Grind
Grind is a Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer map, part of the Revolution downloadable map pack, released on January 29, 2013 (Xbox 360); February 28, 2013 (PS3/PC). It is set in Skate park, Venice Beach, California, USA. Fast, vertical fights across a Venice Beach skate park of ramps, bowls and half-pipes (inspired by Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD).
How Grind plays
On the ground, Grind is defined by skate ramps, halfpipes and bowls, verticality and beachfront setting. Those are the features to read first — they decide where fights open up, which angles are safe to hold, and how you rotate between objectives. Its mix of ranges suits a balanced assault-rifle class with a mid-range optic and Toughness to steady your aim while trading fire.
Hazards & features to learn:
- Skate ramps, halfpipes and bowls
- Verticality
- Beachfront setting
Build a class for it with the Pick-10 system, and browse the full weapon list to match a gun to its ranges.
