Dig
Dig is a Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer map, part of the Apocalypse downloadable map pack, released on August 27, 2013 (Xbox 360); September 26, 2013 (PS3/PC). It is set in Archaeological dig sites, Afghanistan. An adaptation of World at War's Courtyard where two archaeological dig sites host hectic close-quarters confrontations.
How Dig plays
On the ground, Dig is defined by reimagining of waw's courtyard, two symmetrical dig-site pits and close-quarters focus. Those are the features to read first — they decide where fights open up, which angles are safe to hold, and how you rotate between objectives. The close, broken-up terrain favours mobile weapons — submachine guns and shotguns — and perks like Lightweight and Dexterity that keep you quick through its lanes.
Hazards & features to learn:
- Reimagining of WaW's Courtyard
- Two symmetrical dig-site pits
- Close-quarters focus
Build a class for it with the Pick-10 system, and browse the full weapon list to match a gun to its ranges.
