Pod
Pod is a Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer map, part of the Apocalypse downloadable map pack, released on August 27, 2013 (Xbox 360); September 26, 2013 (PS3/PC). It is set in Abandoned utopian pod village, Taiwan. A failed utopian pod-village overgrown with vines, mixing enclosed interior rooms with street engagements for close and mid-range combat.
How Pod plays
On the ground, Pod is defined by pod-like enclosed interior housing units, overgrown vines / dilapidated structures and vertical jumps between pods. Those are the features to read first — they decide where fights open up, which angles are safe to hold, and how you rotate between objectives. The close, broken-up terrain favours mobile weapons — submachine guns and shotguns — and perks like Lightweight and Dexterity that keep you quick through its lanes.
Hazards & features to learn:
- Pod-like enclosed interior housing units
- Overgrown vines / dilapidated structures
- Vertical jumps between pods
Build a class for it with the Pick-10 system, and browse the full weapon list to match a gun to its ranges.
