Cove
Cove is a Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer map, part of the Vengeance downloadable map pack, released on July 2, 2013 (Xbox 360); August 1, 2013 (PS3/PC). It is set in Small isolated island, Indian Ocean. A small, roughly circular arena-style island where twisting boulder-lined paths funnel into a central killzone.
How Cove plays
On the ground, Cove is defined by crashed plane fuselage divides the central killzone, boulder-lined twisting paths and arena-style circular design. Those are the features to read first — they decide where fights open up, which angles are safe to hold, and how you rotate between objectives. The longer sightlines reward assault rifles and marksman rifles, with Ghost to move across the open ground without lighting up enemy UAVs.
Hazards & features to learn:
- Crashed plane fuselage divides the central killzone
