Uplink
Uplink is a Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer map, part of the Vengeance downloadable map pack, released on July 2, 2013 (Xbox 360); August 1, 2013 (PS3/PC). It is set in Satellite communications facility. A re-imagined adaptation of Black Ops' Summit, swapping the mountaintop ski resort for a satellite facility.
How Uplink plays
On the ground, Uplink is defined by reimagining of summit's layout, satellite facility facade and elevated central structure. Those are the features to read first — they decide where fights open up, which angles are safe to hold, and how you rotate between objectives. Its mix of ranges suits a balanced assault-rifle class with a mid-range optic and Toughness to steady your aim while trading fire.
Hazards & features to learn:
- Reimagining of Summit's layout
- Satellite facility facade
- Elevated central structure
Build a class for it with the Pick-10 system, and browse the full weapon list to match a gun to its ranges.
