Best Black Ops 2 Class Setups
These four Black Ops 2 class setups cover the roles most players want — an aggressive rusher, a balanced anchor, a long-range sniper and a suppressive support build. Each one is written for the Pick-10 system, so every item is accounted for within the ten allocation points. Treat them as starting points: swap the primary for another weapon in the same class and the perk logic still holds.
How to read these class setups
Every Black Ops 2 class setup below fits inside ten Pick-10 points. Where a build uses a Greed wildcard for a second perk in a tier, that costs two points (the wildcard plus the perk), which is why some builds drop the secondary weapon or a grenade. If you want to understand the underlying rules first, read the Pick-10 and perks guide.
Across all four builds the same trade-off repeats: every attachment, perk, grenade and wildcard spends one of your ten points, so a second attachment or a sixth perk always means giving something up elsewhere. The strongest classes rarely spend all ten points on perks — they leave room for the one or two attachments that fix a weapon's specific weakness, like a Fast Mag on a small SMG magazine or a Suppressor to stay off the mini-map. Decide which two or three points most change how your gun behaves, then spend what is left on movement and information perks such as Lightweight, Dexterity, Ghost and Engineer.

- Ballista + Iron Sights + Fast Mag
- Secondary: Five-Seven
- Perk 1: Ghost

The Ballista is the fastest-handling bolt-action for quickscoping. Ghost keeps you off enemy UAVs while you hold angles; Dexterity speeds your aim after sprinting between perches.
LMG Support
Lane control · primary: LSAT
- LSAT + Target Finder + Fore Grip
- Perk 1: Flak Jacket
- Perk 2: Scavenger

A 100-round belt plus the Target Finder makes the LSAT a lane-denial tool. Scavenger keeps you topped up; a Claymore watches your back while you suppress a sightline.
