Black Ops 2 Zombies Perks
Perk-a-Colas are the buffs that keep you alive deep into a Black Ops 2 Zombies match. You buy each one from a vending machine placed around the map, paying with the points you earn from kills and repairs, and it grants a permanent passive bonus for the rest of the game. This page lists all 12 Perk-a-Colas available across Black Ops 2 Zombies — from staples like Juggernog and Speed Cola to map-specific additions such as Who's Who, Tombstone Soda, Electric Cherry and Vulture Aid — with each perk's exact effect, its cost in points and where it appears.
All Black Ops 2 Zombies perks
| Perk | Effect | Cost | Availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Juggernog | Increases health by 150 (to a total of 250), letting the player take four zombie hits before going down instead of two | 2500 points | Available on all Black Ops II round-based maps (returning perk) |
| Speed Cola | Increases reload speed by 50% (and speeds up barricade rebuilding) | 3000 points | Available on all Black Ops II round-based maps (returning perk) |
| Double Tap 2.0 | Increases fire rate by 33% and fires two bullets for the cost of one round (effectively doubling damage output) | 2000 points | Available on Black Ops II maps (upgraded 'Double Tap Root Beer 2.0' version) |
| Quick Revive | In solo, enables self-revival up to three times (revived with Mustang & Sally pistols). In co-op, doubles the speed at which you revive downed teammates | 500 points (solo) / 1500 points (co-op) | Available on all Black Ops II round-based maps (returning perk) |
| Stamin-Up | Increases movement speed by 7% and lets the player sprint for twice as long; reduces the weight/slowdown effect of heavy weapons | 2000 points | Available on Black Ops II maps (returning perk) |
| PhD Flopper | Grants immunity to self-inflicted explosive and fall damage; performing a dolphin dive from a height creates an explosion that kills nearby zombies | 2000 points | Origins (returning perk; the only BO2 map it appears on) |
| Mule Kick | Allows the player to carry a third weapon in an extra slot; the third weapon is lost when the player goes down | 4000 points | Available on Black Ops II maps (returning perk) |
| Who's Who | When downed, spawns a controllable doppelganger (armed with an M1911, plus Claymores if owned) that can revive the player's real, bleeding-out self | 2000 points | Die Rise (new perk) |
| Tombstone Soda | Co-op only. When the player bleeds out, a Tombstone power-up is created; on respawning the following round the player can collect it to recover their perks, weapons and equipment | 2000 points | TranZit / Green Run (new perk) |
| Electric Cherry | Reloading (especially from an empty magazine) releases an electric shockwave around the player that damages and stuns nearby zombies | 2000 points | Mob of the Dead (new perk; also appears on Origins) |
| Vulture Aid | Reveals the locations of Perk machines, wall guns and the Mystery Box through walls; zombies have a chance to drop small bags of points or ammo, and certain killed zombies emit a green gas cloud that wards off other zombies when the player stands in it | 3000 points | Buried (new perk) |
| Deadshot Daiquiri | Auto-aims at the zombie's head when aiming down sights, increases hip-fire accuracy by 35% and reduces weapon recoil | 1500 points | Mob of the Dead and Origins (returning perk) |
How perks work in Black Ops 2 Zombies
Every Perk-a-Cola is bought from its own vending machine, which must be powered before it will dispense. Drinking one applies a passive effect that lasts until you lose it — there is no cooldown or ammo, just a one-time points cost. Because points are also spent on doors, the Mystery Box, wall weapons and Pack-a-Punch, deciding when to invest in a perk is a core part of surviving the later rounds of Black Ops 2 Zombies.
When you are downed and bleed out, you lose every perk you were holding and have to buy them again. Two perks soften that blow: Quick Revive lets a solo player self-revive (and speeds up reviving teammates in co-op), while Tombstone Soda drops a power-up on death that you can collect the following round to reclaim your perks, weapons and equipment.
Some perks return on every round-based map, while others are tied to a single map: Who's Who debuted on Die Rise, Tombstone Soda on Green Run / TranZit, Electric Cherry on Mob of the Dead, Vulture Aid on Buried, and PhD Flopper returns only on Origins. The Availability column above notes where each perk can be found.
