Turbine
Turbine is a Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer map, one of the maps included with the base game at launch, released on November 13, 2012. It is set in Wind farm in the steep hills of Yemen. A large map set across the steep hills of a Yemeni wind farm with long sightlines and scattered wind turbines.
How Turbine plays
On the ground, Turbine is defined by wind turbines dotting the terrain, long sniping sightlines and hilly, tiered layout. Those are the features to read first — they decide where fights open up, which angles are safe to hold, and how you rotate between objectives. The longer sightlines reward assault rifles and marksman rifles, with Ghost to move across the open ground without lighting up enemy UAVs.
