Aftermath
Aftermath is a Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer map, one of the maps included with the base game at launch, released on November 13, 2012. It is set in Downtown Los Angeles, USA (after a drone attack). Close-quarters urban combat through the ruined, debris-strewn streets of downtown Los Angeles following a drone strike.
How Aftermath plays
On the ground, Aftermath is defined by destroyed cityscape, rubble and vehicle wreckage as cover and multi-lane street layout. Those are the features to read first — they decide where fights open up, which angles are safe to hold, and how you rotate between objectives. The close, broken-up terrain favours mobile weapons — submachine guns and shotguns — and perks like Lightweight and Dexterity that keep you quick through its lanes.
Hazards & features to learn:
- Destroyed cityscape
- Rubble and vehicle wreckage as cover
- Multi-lane street layout
Build a class for it with the Pick-10 system, and browse the full weapon list to match a gun to its ranges.
