Encore

Encore is a Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer map, part of the Uprising downloadable map pack, released on April 16, 2013 (Xbox 360); May 16, 2013 (PS3/PC). It is set in Futuristic amphitheater on the banks of the Thames, London, England. A semi-circular futuristic concert amphitheater shaped like a basin, with low central ground ringed by elevated pathways.

How Encore plays

On the ground, Encore is defined by semi-circular basin layout, central low ground with elevated surrounding rooms and concert-stage setting. Those are the features to read first — they decide where fights open up, which angles are safe to hold, and how you rotate between objectives. The close, broken-up terrain favours mobile weapons — submachine guns and shotguns — and perks like Lightweight and Dexterity that keep you quick through its lanes.

Encore arrived in the Uprising downloadable map pack on April 16, 2013 (Xbox 360); May 16, 2013 (PS3/PC) — one of the four DLC packs Treyarch released for Black Ops II across 2013, each bundling four multiplayer maps and a co-op Zombies map for $14.99.
