Story summary

2025. During Menendez's interrogation aboard the USS Obama, JSOC operator Javier Salazar is revealed as Menendez's mole and frees him; Menendez uploads the celerium virus and hijacks the US drone fleet. Farid's fate and whether Admiral Briggs survives are decided here, both feeding the endings.

As one of Black Ops II's fixed story missions, Odysseus plays in a set order and cannot be skipped the way the optional Strike Force operations can.
